Selena looks so empty here... Between her hair, the styling, and her apparent discomfort, it's hard to find much to enjoy from this. (Other than the glowing V itself.)
As much as I love I&V, I really wish they'd move away from their studio stuff a bit. I want to see more from them that is reminiscent of their 90's work. Their Fall 98/99 works for Yohji, for example. Total genius that won't show through if they keep doing portraits like this and the ones for V93.

Thanks for posting Melancholybaby! I'm a big Faena fan, but it feels like I'm seeing this editorial in every magazine. This, along with the Klein+Joan mess is just off-putting. The rest of the editorials are very good though, all incidentally studio shoots.

Oh God, Lexi looks awful. So forced. I'd actually prefer Cara for stories like these.

I love Lexi but she's more of a serious editorial to me. It could've been perfect with the mod styling if it weren't a crazy editorial. Those shots where she's just staring are fantastic, the smiling ones look amateur
