I agree in a way. I think the models they are selecting fit a certain mold. They all seem to have that "ugly beautiful/interesting" quality about their looks. That and they all are well built for runway work.

3. Taryn Davidson (DNA)

Had she not been exclusive to Calvin Klein in New York and Jil Sander in Milan, she would have done all of my shows (and most of the other top shows no doubt). She has all the ingredients: the height, the perfect blend of fresh beauty and a wonderful personality. Out soon is a Benetton campaign with David Sims that will lay the groundwork for her Fall 2008 season, as well as only-girl stories in Italian Vogue with Nathaniel Goldberg and German Vogue with Alexi Lubomirski."

I really don't see how two of the four (Ali, Siri, Karlie and Meghan) will be excluded on a Top 10 new faces list...

-Ali has Chloe, CK campaign..did Prada, Balenciaga, Chanel, etc.
-Karlie has Pringle, Nina Ricci, and also had a very good runway debut season (Calvin, Gucci, etc).
-Siri was everywhere in Paris, Prada Sport campaign, etc. And has been doing a lot of editorials.
-Meghan has two Vogue Italia covers, Prada resort, and a bunch of editorials and Meisel campaigns...

I really don't see how two of the four (Ali, Siri, Karlie and Meghan) will be excluded on a Top 10 new faces list...

It's Angus's Top 10, though. I don't think he even tries to be objective.

Or maybe to a certain extent, but it's more like he's just picking his favorites among the more prominent newcomers, and tries to predict who will do well in seasons to come. Otherwise the ranking is completely off so far, and Flo and Franziska shouldn't even be on the list.

Four models who deserve to be in this list and only two places left, my guess is Ali and Karli.

I don't want it to be Siri or Meghan, just because they have been around for quite awhile longer and have had their buzz. I think Ali and Karlie would be much more deserving since they are fresh and young and seem to have the most hope for the future.
