Indeed, as Vogue reports:
SPEAKING in her much publicised interview with Piers Morgan this weekend, Cheryl Cole revealed that despite suffering from what was later diagnosed as the worst possible strain of malaria she didn't want to miss the photo shoot that would see her make the October cover of Vogue.
"I was really excited about the shoot because it was for Vogue," she said. "My agent saw how ill I looked and she and the team on the shoot kept suggesting I go home but I didn't want to. They'd flown a photographer over for the shoot especially and there'd been some complication with his flight so he had a really long drive from the airport. I just thought 'poor guy - he can't come all this way for me to cancel on the day like this'. I told them I'd be fine if I could just lie down for an hour - so I did and that was it, I was out like a light."
The shoot went ahead, shot by Patrick Demarchelier, with Cole wearing Valentino.
