She´s on fire! I love this, even though she´s in a bikini I don´t find this tacky... can´t wait to see the ed.

Thanks for sharing

She looks amazing! I love that they (seemingly) didn't retouch her body, save for that arm which has definitely been slimmed. Her skin is simply fantastic.

Nice to see something simple, no contortionist pin-up poses or heavy styling.

Looks like we might get a magazine editor story, with that mention of "the original Cosmo girl".

I'm also surprised by the seemingly little retouching, especially having seen the candids. Margot is on fire, this really is her summer!

Think so too, Helen Gurley-Brown? And it's penned by James Wolcott who always ruffles feathers with his features fore this magazine, so that will be a treat.

WOWWWW this is beautiful ! The photography (of course by Demarchelier) is beyond gorgeous, the pose, the styling, hair and makeup: well done

Funny that it took VF to bring us the cover we all wanted from her! Yes, it looks a bit SI but I don't mind. She looks fantastic! I did like her US Vogue cover too but this is just something!

Margot looks really great in this shot. I love how natural it is

This is way too cheap mens magazine. Yes she's hot, we get it, but let's do something with a little more depth please.

Finally! An image that has fully captured her beauty.

She looks stunning in this shot.

However, I don't understand the gradient logo and the shadow.. why?

And what's up with the headlines? 1 article about Trump, 1 about the NRA (which is somehow related to Trump), Bill Cosby "horror" stories, and a "Scandal" that shook generations? How positive! And it's all placed beside a carefree, and stunning Margot? The headlines do not match the mood of the cover imo.

I really hate how blatant VF is in how they shoot men and women. With women it's skin, skin skin, but men are always fully covered up.

She looks amazing on the cover, much better than US Vogue.

I must be the only one that finds her really bland looking and the fact that she's always portrayed in the bimbo stereotype doesn't really add any depth.

There are a lot of factors to consider. Despite the strong male reader base, I think the majority of the readers are female. So they must be buying into this? These covers sure don't tank. Also the VF man is mostly mature and sort of set in his way, I would imagine. Probably grew up in a world filled with pin-ups. The same world where male nudity was a bit of a taboo.

And yet in spite of it all, the magazine seems fully aware that this irks some readers. There's always a woman complaining in the letters section about the disproportionate showcasing of sex/nudity, but VF try to make light of it by lumping it with other senseless nitpicking complaints.

Also, most actors have enough self respect to not pose half naked. Nobody's is forcing these. Actresses to get naked. I'm sure Julia Roberts would decline the offer.

Hahaha, very true, but some of the men which they cover wouldn't flinch to ditch their shirts. Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth, Michael Jordan? These guys live for that kind of attention, though not blatantly. If all else fails, there's always Skarsgard. He would have zero qualms to shoot a cover in his underwear. I know a lot of women (and men, ahem, Phuel) would be into that sort of thing.
