I like that they shot him in Iceland, though I did assume at first it was a fake set, maybe they should have over done the airbrushing on the bg. Anyways, that polar bear is adorable!

I LOVE KNUT and of coarse Leonardo! I agree though that the background looks really fake. When I first heard of the Green Issue, I thought it was made of recycled paper...that German Vanity Fair is too cute!

hmm...

I don't like the inclusion of the bear. People are actually very weary of the "save the cute baby animal" approach. I should know, the minute I argue against the Canadian seal hunt, people assume I want to save the seals because the babies are cute. I think that is such an insulting assumption and this cover does not disuade the public from viewing environmentalists as emotional/soft (and thus, irrational). But that's just my gripe with the bear.
