Two solid covers from Vanity Fair in a row. Radhika Jones ought to stick with this loud new direction because the magazine's covers have began to stand out immensely on the shelves with those vibrant colours. Lupita has photographed oh so perfectly here!

Jesus, I'm so sick of those ugly Moncler x Valentino puffer coat gowns. I never got the hype and they seem to be everywhere, it's annoying. But Lupita is truly beautiful, such a stunning face.

It feels raw and unfinished doesn’t it? It doesn’t have that commercial touch that is easily associated to Vanity Fair.

But nonetheless better than what I’ve seen over the months

Not kidding, this was literally my first thought while looking at both the photography and styling. It's definitely very now and fashion forward, but VF's cover editorials always stood the test of time whether Jessica used couture pieces for Gaga and Katy Perry, or a simple denim and tank for Nicole K and Penelope. That's very important because most people collect the magazine to reread it again. It's not supposed to be like a Elle or Vogue which can be disposable. There's no quirk in this. Tina Brown's biggest fear is now a reality - the US edition is morphing into Vanity Fair Italia.

In some photos she looks like candy or freezepop. In others she looks like an inflatable pool. A total mess.

I cannot believe the editorial. 'Unfinished' and 'phone-like' were the first thoughts that went through my head. It's so.. amateur.
