This is a lovely, beautifully constructed collection. What you should expect from Versace. I highly doubt we'll never see Donatella go over the top again, it may be her next collection. But she showed restraint here and the result is nothing short of a beautiful collection. If she used bold prints, went costumey, she probably would have been crticized for that, by many. You can't be everything to everyone.

I´m still in Love with this collection. The evening gowns are so beautiful and wearable. The colors- very fresh and summer. Love it. My fav collection, as always.

The details on dresses just fantastic.

I can't stop looking at this, I love it. The daywear really reminds me of early Pamela Ewing on Dallas... and the eveningwear, with it's draping and ties on the busts and necklines, reminds me of Halston dresses. In that context, I think it's a wonderful image of chic late 70's dressing. No glitz or metal, more of a calm mood

no sue ellen on Dallas ! She had the model height lol...there is a very late 70s feel to this . I see donatella started using looser pants ,something she hasnt done in ages.

I think people really like this cause basically, we're all color depraved, lol. That whole "greige" (love that word. i forgot who coined it but it's so fitting!) thing might fly with the hardcore fashion crowd, but noone can stand against simple, colorful and beautiful. (Except for the people who like avant garde, black and "interesting" )

I went to the show with a friend of mine yesterday, and it was definitely amazing. I DID love the music, at the very beginning they played "Nessun dorma", one of the most famous songs by Luciano Pavarotti. The clothes were nice too, but I actually expected something better: the colors are always the same!

No doubt that this collection is really sexy and beautiful but come on, nothing is new to me here.

Apart from the shoes and accesories, there is nothing new with the clothes.

It's just the same things from past collections all into one (SS06,SS07,FW05,SS07).

What I see new is the colours which are a little tacky but some are really interesting.

I need to see something innovative and new...
