Versace S/S 2017 : Edie Campbell & Anna Ewers by Bruce Weber

That's fast!

Nice pictures but it just isn't Versace for me at all
Not the Versace I love

So, clearly, this is not "Versace". The only shot I like is the one with the male model. The two individual shots with Edie are take it or leave it for me - just meh. However, the one with Anna and Edie could not have been more stiff if they tried. Anna, especially, looks like she's never modeled in her life. And her kneck looks like she's a football player.

Can't wait to see more of Anna but this campaign really got nothing to do with Versace and the SS17 collection at all.

Loves it!
It's a new Versace. Someday (I think sooner than later) Versace will be back to vixen mode, but for now it makes sense.
It's a far cry from last season family affair which was completely out of sync with the house and made no sense at all.
This does have the sex and power, it's just softer and more athletic.

This is boring but I love the menswear shot and I like Edie's pictures as well.

Concept aside, I am failing to see the beauty in these images. They seem very.. weak.

Versace in Kentucky? A mess. This is truly awful.

The rich I know like it better to get drunk in that tiny room corner where they feel safe and cuddly. Not running around on the open field that they might get shot.

Can someone retire Bruce Weber already??? Because let's be honest, we wouldn't have this 'new Versace' if it wasn't for him. Donatella is trying to copy Gucci's recipe, and it won't work. Gucci's clothes and produce now matches the ad campaign. Hers doesn't!

The shots are bad, an utter waste of Edie and Anna. I like the clothes, but not in this setting.

I don't feel this anymore, so forget about it.

I kinda like the images, but the horses are stealing the spotlight and Weber is such not a good fit for Versace...

Better than what I imagined after seeing the preview. I hope there will be better shots of Anna.

This is very frustrating. I mean the pictures are beautiful and the cast is good so far!
It's so frustrating that she stopped working with Klein because he could have done beautiful things with those two women.

This looks like a Barney's catalogue.

We have been talking about the idea of the new Versace for 10 years now. M&M era was kinda cliché in their vision of sex and power, Testino second era was boring to death are ruined the potential of great collections...
I feel like Weber is a bit between those two. It's surprising because it's Versace but it is on the limit of boring. I'm waiting for the rest.

I like when Versace is Versace! That doesn't mean tacky but when you think about Meisel campaigns, Testino & Avedon campaigns in the 90's, this is the kind of energy i want. We can't say that those campaigns were the definition of sex but they were striking.

She should try with Klein again or I&V...

Not I&V please, Klein. Klein or Meisel. They gave the brand some semblance of sophistication.
