Victoria Beckham S/S 2013 New York

Styled by Joe McKenna.

Footwear by Manolo and hats by Stephen Jones.

everybody's been talking about the flats
not a bad show , not at all

This is great.. I love it! Another great collection from Victoria Beckham :)

A very wonderful show, the best thing about this collection is that one doesn't get the feeling that she was "going for the big prize" like i usually got with her previous seasons! There was always an element of "pleasing the retailers" that was evident, and while there are still her signature power dresses here, they look more fresh, and modern. I mean the whole collection reads like a new age Maria Felix, down to the stunning flat Manolos, and Jones Hats, with the pop of that beautiful red. You can think of business, but also be creative and explore the different sides of fashion. Finally she had that breakthrough.

The transparent panels work so beautifully with those dresses, and all the visible underwear gives a chic Helmut Newton vibe that works, i think this will sell just as well as her more predictable offerings, if not better.

First two looks are my favorite. Not a bad collection.

You have to admire this woman for what she's managed to do with her brand. She's become a very serious contender during fashion week and evolved her style along the way

Very clean collection and she manages to provide a DNA to her designs I really admire that!!

In a few seasons she's turned her company into one of the most commercially viable brands new in NYFW. She understands modern women and what they want to wear in every moment of their hectic lives. I can eventually see her getting to a level comparable to Michael Kors.

I'm still not very familiar with her as a designer... Though this looks quite nice! Love the looks with those hats. :)

The first half does absolutely nothing for me. Way too conservative and boring for my taste. But I'm positively surprised by the dresses and ensembles in the second part. I especially love the pants with the bra tops and the sheer layers and I love all the black dresses. The proportions are very flattering and the details are very sexy. I'm not a fan of the shade of red she used here, though. This is definitely a very good collection coming from her, she really is evolving from season to season and I do like how she has such a clear vision of what the VB woman looks like. It's very strong in its simplicity and everything looks so beautifully made, I'm impressed.
