So step forward, once more, the former Posh Spice. Victoria Beckham last week debuted her freshly cropped hair (a move to distance herself from the other WAGs) during an evening out with her friend Christopher Bailey, Burberry's creative director. The outing was duly "papped".
A few days later, an item appeared in a newspaper diary alleging that Bailey had received a severe dressing down from Burberry bosses for socialising with the Queen of WAGs. It was rumoured that the company, which has spent years trying to shrug off its chav associations, saw the publicity as a major setback.
No one has done more than Bailey to transform Burberry into a major fashion player with consistently praised fashion collections - he is one of the industry's key trendsetters. For the record, sources at Burberry deny Bailey was reprimanded following the dinner.
All the same, would Burberry's new Manor bag be quite so desirable if it was given a high-profile outing by Mrs Beckham? Would we all be lusting after the label's limited-edition gold trench if she had been there first?

^^Thats crazy Victoria and Bailey were friends for a long time so it says a lot about credibility of this article that after he went on a dinner with her he recived a severe dressing down-come on its stupid!
They have been friends for a long time and when his partner died of brain cancer last summer it was Victoria who consolted him and let him stay at her B. palace!

i doubt it too but if she does get an endorsement deal, i wouldn't be surprised. i really don't get these celebs who always seem to want to sell themselves to get a fashion endorsement. very inappropriate and quite moronic. then again, those people are just that.

Well Burberry obviously aren't doing a very good job of changing their image. I love Burberry Prorsum but I consider it to be completely different to say, Burberry London. I was shocked when I saw the most recent line, and actually liked 90% of the clothes for Burberry London. But as long as you have those trashy tartan bags lingering, Burberry will have a bad image.

According to Teddy and Moo.com Victoria is going to be the new face of Burberry. I personally love her style an have no problem with this. But Im sure my British Counterparts will. Whats Your Take On This?

^^Here is the deal i like Victoria and her style.I also think this could work specially with her new haircut they could do something totally different from Victoria Beckham we know!
But its just a silly rumor because she and Baily went out on a dinner.
What these tabloids dont know is that they have been friends for a long time and seen together before.
Its just that suddenly they went to this hip restaurant and everyone saw them,paprazzi snapped their pictures and all of a sudden she is supoose to be a model for Burberry.no dont belive it!
