Victoria Davidova

I like her style, but Aliona was a goddess! It will be hard to replace her.

Is it her new eic for sure? I already miss Aliona...

Well, she doesn't impresses me too, but let's give her a chance. :innocent:

She's boring. She doesn't strike me like the first time I saw Aliona.

Condé Nast Publishing House announces the appointment of Victoria Davydova chief editor of the magazine Vogue. In this position Victoria Davydova replace Aliona Doletskaya, which decided to leave the magazine.

ADLET, you need to write the source of any image you post on tFS, otherwise we have to delete them.

Sad. She has none of Alyona's class and sophistication.

Well she has a good record, and is known for being capable, dont know about her style, but then Alexandra Shulman isnt a personification of a style icon either, hopefully she finds her voice at VR, it sure wont be easy to follow Aliona.

She is former Glamour editor-in-chief. She has no style and always make everything looks cheap. She is really cheap style woman. Sorry but I can't understand Conde Nast politics. Davidova dreamed about this place for ages so she wins because her best friend is president of Conde Nast Russia Karina Dobrotvorskaya

I hope the magazine will be better and more interesting than the way she looks

Alyona is an intelligent woman who made Russian Vogue unique. Is Victoria going to have the creative leadership required to follow in her footsteps? Or is it all about the sales? Did she get the job because circulation increased when she was head of Tatler and Glamour? Did the quality of those magazines improve too?

I hope the magazine will be better and more interesting than the way she looks

Don't you like her innovative hair styles and the way she dresses for her age?

Well, I believe in Victoria's extremely strong professional qualities, IMHO VR really needs a fresh sip

No one doubts Victoria's professional qualities, but the truth is Alyona is known for her effortless charm, her style, so rare in Russia, her impeccable British accent, the way she expresses herself in interviews, her sense of humour and, of course, her tact and and erudite intelligence. No one can replace that, and Viktoria, for all her experience, lacks these things. Not to say that the magazine itself will suffer though, not at all :flower:

I find her Tacky when compared to Alyona's style. Well let's see. Her Russian Tatler covers are a bit Blah. (Putting Dalmatian print on the LOGO) :(
