Condé Nast Publishing House announces the appointment of Victoria Davydova chief editor of the magazine Vogue. In this position Victoria Davydova replace Aliona Doletskaya, which decided to leave the magazine.
Victoria Davidova came to Condé Nast in 1998 and as editor of beauty participated in the launch of Russian Vogue. Soon after the launch has been appointed director of Beauty and worked in this position for five years. In 2004, Victoria became the chief editor of Russian Glamour, which under her leadership was a triumphant run on the Russian market and already six months has reached the 800 thousandth edition.
In 2008 it was commissioned by Victoria Davydova launch Russian Tatler. Despite erupted simultaneously with the first issue of the economic crisis, the magazine once declared itself as the publication of a coherent concept, and found its audience. Victoria Davidov was born April 6, 1968 in Moscow, graduated from the Economics Faculty of Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov Moscow State University, later received a doctorate in economics beauty industry. Prior to joining Condé Nast worked for an advertising agency McCann Erikson. She is married and raises two sons.
