I finally have an answer as to why Carmen Kass was not on the VS show this year.

I read in a Japanese magazine article that she was supposed to be on the show but she was unable to show up because of a non-immediate family member situation. There was a serious legal problem occuring with her family member that her presence was needed because of her expertise in politics. Carmen will appear on next year's show for VS though.

This year though, she was supposed to LEAD/START the entire show but because of her absense, Gisele was shosen (Accoring to a VS interview 3 months ago)

Don't worry you all, she's not done yet!!!

It's so lucky for u that can get some infos about VS05
from the magazines.
About the chinese megazines..there's no much about the VS 2005.
that's too bad..

Despite some of the more questionable decisions she has made regarding Top Model, I really am sad to see Tyra go as VS Angel.

If it weren't for her, who knows if other black models would even be used? Looking at the editorials and campaigns these days still shows that there is an absence of women of color; the industry still has a lot of work to do in order to reflect the changing world.

Hopefully they will find another stunning girl to replace her (e.g. Oulchi) so that VS can continue to be one of the most diverse establishments of beautiful women.

Oh, and to the poeple who say Heidi is fat:

GIVE THE WOMAN A BREAK! SHE HAD A KID 6 WEEKS BEFORE!
