Victoria's Secret

Yeah I find guys in VS a bit awkward.. because they act awkward.. haha!

I actually bought a leather jacket on the VS site today. Random I know, but it looked really cute. Originally $218 on sale for $199 but I had a 20% off and a 25% off coupon as well as free shipping so it totaled out to be $130 in all.

^damn that's nice! Very similar to RO.

Marla, looks good but just a tiny bit less would be better imo.

^ That jacket looks really nice! Congrats! The leather looks gorgeous.

I like how that jacket's fitted, most leather jackets are so bulky or loose

Love the leather jacket! It's slim cut and flattering.

Does anyone know if I can return VS clothing to a VS store? I wanted to order a couple of things online, but I don't like their bras and I'm scared I won't like the clothing (though I'm just planning on ordering a few basics). Would I be able to return them to a physical location or will they charge me for return shipping?

^ Unless they've changed their policy recently, you have to send back catalog and online returns through the mail. Their stores won't accept them.

Yeah guys pretty much hate being in VS. normally it isn't nice to part with the person you are with but when VS comes up I'll just waltz right over to another part of the mall. Ashley Stewart is more exciting.

Bought one this weekend...

source: me
well you don't say...

Bringing this thread back for the Semi-Annual Sale :) Just stocked up on undies, going to wait until further markdowns to buy bras.

:( I stopped buying bras at Victoria's Secret. Even with the semi-annual sale, all the good ones are usually taken. :( I began buying mine at Target and they're even more comfortable... what can I say???

Erin, I don't know where in LA you live, but the VS in Westwood is the BEST for the SAS. It's really low-traffic so they aren't picked over at all, and since they cater to all the UCLA girls they have more comfy stuff as opposed to crotchless panties, etc.

^ Great to know, CarolineRose. :) I'm just east of Hancock Park, so Westwood isn't too much of a haul - thanks for the tip!

The funny thing about it being awkward seeing a man in Victoria's secret is the original founder of the store wanted to make VS a place a man could shop for his wife or girlfriend without being embarrassed. But i think as they store was sold into other hand their idea's changed

Yeah, the company has said it's focused on catering mostly to women now. I do have a (straight) male friend who works there, though. I asked him once if his girlfriend got annoyed at him looking at scantily clad women all day (although the male salesmen aren't allowed in the women's fitting rooms, of course), and he said no, she loves it because he can get her all the free underwear she wants!

I imagine that bra must weigh a ton. I was debating just ordering one but I kinda want to try it on first.

The Miraculous bras are surprisingly very, very light.

Has anybody hit up their Semi-Annual sale? Yesterday I found a couple of Miraculous bras (miraculously in my size, excuse the pun!) and a D&G bra, which was my favorite find.

^ Yes, I was at Glendale this afternoon and there were NONE in any size. Such a terrible selection.

The Grove had the goods this past week (the Miraculous bras) - can't guarantee their selection after the weekend, though. Good luck. :) Report back with any finds! :flower:

Is someone actually buying their bras and are they worth all the hype?

^YES!

I can't buy cheap bras from Target or even Macy's. I'm VS all the way in terms of bras.
they're much better quality and support than other brands that I've had.
and last way longer without wires or anything popping out after a couple of washes like some brands

def worth the hype.

the clothing - not so much. I have a couple of sweaters from them, but mostly just bras

their bras are definitely great. never had a bad experience, and I have TONS.
i also love their yoga pants, and panties. anything else, not so much.
