I really like the cover...but I have to see it in HQ.

Review thanks to penski material from Vogue Forums.

Valerija Erokhina is on the cover by Max Doyle

she also has an ed titled "Green Piece" (showing Prada's Resort Collection)

The other eds are:
"Splendour in the Grass" with Eniko Mihalik photographed in straw by Inez and Vinoodh

"Sun Shade" with Myf Shepherd (Ph. Max Doyle) - shot on Hamilton Island,

and theres a "2008 - The Year in Fashion" special.

Don't like the cover but I admire that it's not a re-print.

The Inez&Vinoodh editorial is a re-print from Vogue Nippon though!

At least, they've been quick to capitalize on Myf Shepherd. I mean with past embarrassments like ignoring the potential of Cat McNeil and Abbey Lee. :innocent:

I don't like the pose, it looks forced. But at least the cover isn't a reprint!

Who is this model anyway????
She hasn't got an international fame yet, does she?

She mostly works in Australia but she was on that Petra Nemcova reality show A Model Life.

She's very pretty and good at sophisticated editorials. Check out her thread.

Not yet, no...she's an Australian model...I have to give that to Vogue Australia, though...they are proud of their girls and are willing to give them covers. Even someone who is an unknown in the international business like Valerija.

i like the cover. i like the idea of a prada resort editorial. i wont be getting this until forever because basically i just got setpember

I liked the colors, but agree that it's not the best way to begin the year. The ed looks great though.

yay! she gets a vogue aus cover! does she get a fullspread too?

 the colours, and the pose.

No... but someone has to believe in these newer girls .... why can't Vogue Aus??... I like the way that Vogue Oz is beginning to find its confidence and its own aesthetic ...through this year it has gone from strength to strenth.. december was great... can't wait to see how this one is inside... I don't think this model is particularly interesting... but I do like the cover..
