Wow, a repeat for Kim?? But why?! Maybe Christine campaigned for this, but I'm quite prepared to accept that her last cover might've sold well. I don't like the image even though I'm an ardent Bailey fan. There's something off here, she looks very gaunt around the neck area which makes her head look big.
I am however rather keen on their new art direction. This style was very popular for fashion titles from 1990-2000. But I don't think readers responded really well to it even then, so I'm not sure if it will continue to work for Vogue Australia. The premise of minimal coverlines in general seems to be that either the image is powerful enough to warrant a purchase, or the brand is terribly established with a solid following. As it is the 3 names/features mentioned on this cover is absolutely vomitory!
