Vogue Brazil December 2015 : Gisele Bündchen by François Nars

I agree with Nymphaea, this style doesn't suit her very well. Too bad because the styling and make-up are cool ! The magic is not here unfortunately.

I love both covers so much. Nice to see a different side of Gisele.

For me this styling and make up look so bad on her. Bad end of the year fot Vogue Brazil.

I absolutely despise that hard strobe lighting.
It flattens everthing, it's so unflattering.

Wow had no idea about any of this, thanks for the info.

One of my favorite beauty editorials of all time was shot by Francois for allure c 1998 (RIP allure under Linda Wells :o) . Stephanie Seymour, Karen Elson, Kristen Mcmenamy and Isabella Rossellini all BARE faced sans make-up. and beautiful beyond words.

I posted this beauty ed on my blogpost 7, 8 years ago but I regrettably deleted my account (otherwise I'd share here). Now in the social media age it's common place gimmick to claim a "no make-up selfie" but for Francois and Linda Wells to promote bare-faced models in a late 90s beauty magazine no less was unheard of and ground-breaking.

Here's all I could find of this aforementioned ed. this looks like my grainy scan in fact from Bellazon

Another ed shot by Francois for the late, great Jane magazine

As far as the cover images go, is VOGUE Brazil in the habit of obliterating every wrinkle on Gisele's face?

Beauty, elegance and style comes from experience, embracing life and excepting imperfections ^_^

I like only the opening shot, it's really striking, much like a campaign. The rest all feels a bit deja vu - the styling, that is.

Chanel and Gisele are not such a natural match that their collaboration can bear such repeated servings. An occasional campaign featuring Gisele is an interesting mix of the energy of both 'brands', but as a spokesmodel over several seasons... it's becoming boring.
