I don't hate any of the covers but none of them stand out to me either. To me, they're all okay but a bit unrefined or a bit messy. I do like the ed where Gisele has the high ponytail, though.
Yeah they really tried to play with Bourdin's aesthetic in that ed. I can't say I like the result very much, but it's not a total fail. Reminds me a little of Gisele's Vogue Turkey ed by Mert and Marcus. At least it's something a bit different from what we usually see in VB...
Gisele's eds are not bad either, especially Flor da Pele, even though I'm not really in the mood for beachwear in the height of winter. Demarchelier's is typical Demarchelier in studio, which is almost boring but very welcome considering VB's usual studio eds.
My conclusion, based on Vogue Brazil's latest issues: it is better to have 4 eds or a very big one with a great model than to have different eds with different models of the kind of Luana Teifke. I never think it's all about the model, but it seems to be the major issue here, if I am to conform with the chosen photographers. Maybe a Raquel issue would be nice, since they seem to love her. Or Lea T - I can't believe she hasn't been in Vogue Brazil yet.
