So true! It really does look like Marchesa here. Akrans for Vogue China is normally very different from Akrans for US Bazaar. Either way, big let-down.

Re Lindbergh, I've heard it in the grapevine that he turned down big jobs last year because they couldn't offer him a substantial page count, which would include at least a few double-page shots. He's at that point in his career where he can actually do that. But most editors don't want that because they either cannot afford to give him 20-odd pages at a time, or they want to cram in as many looks possible to broaden the advertisers, therefore pushing for more single shot pages.

You have to be very talented to have a wide selection of Chanel but to manage to make them like some C list dresses.

Where is the Chanel? The timeless beauty, the French eleganza, The Lesage at his best???

Huh? So it's not a proper Chanel tribute then. Unless they mean the 'spirit' of Chanel with looks by other designers, but it's far too soon for that.
