I have been searching out the Vogue covers for Lisa Fonssagrives and posting them in her thread. Here are more classic Vogue covers from Lisa's thread.
covers used to be soooooooooooooooo much fun!! im amazed. wanna have them all on my wall lol.
why did they change? why now just the face of the model/actress?. buuu
The simple studio cover shoots of the 40s through 60s never cease to blow me away with their witty inventiveness and resourcefulness. This image isn't necessarily one that would've jumped out at me for cover material but wow I love what they did with that simple mirror prop to make the cover pop. The cover ensemble looks almost always complete with accessories.
