Vogue España August 2016 : Lucky Blue Smith, Crista Cober & Anja Rubik by Nico Bustos

Too much happening in this cover. They wasted Anja and Crista's beauties by putting Lucky between them...
Lucky doing a stop sign with his hand, do I need to say more? Yes stop, we don't need to see you again...

It's a very bad cover.
Edit: It looks like a fold out with Binx and Les Twins

Another cover, another identity. This is just too much. So much is going on. The hand, the hairstyles, the styling, the necklaces... So much is just going on. And the layout is terrible as well.

My question is, should Anja be posing on the covers like that? She literally is a model superstar... the models could not have appeared more disconnected... they seem to be all doing their own thing...

I follow Next Models account on snapchat and a few weeks ago they posted some snaps shooting a special project (in the same place of the cover) with Lucky, Binx, Les Twins.. I think this is what they were working on and all of the people in the cover are signed with Next so this might be the connection between the models, otherwise I don't explain why to put Anja next to Lucky.
Anyway I don't like it, that hand is disturbing in my opinion.

Anja looks like she is being pushed out from the cover. Also, do they know a fold out cover is usually one panoramic image? What the hell is that?

I like it. I appreciate Lucky´s girly looks
I wish that Anja was more engaged in the action but still, not bad imo.

It's indeed a special project in collaboration with Next!

Without Lucky Blue it could have been so much better. This gesture is so unnecessary and annoying

Prom-season in Spain...? They covered the amateur-level awful from photography to styling— nothing left untouched when it comes to defining the cheapest fast-fashion in quality as this— like the type of campaign you’d see for Express. Produced by interns?

(And why is this a foldout when it’s not even a full spread of the cover?)

This is really tragic, such a waste of talents like Anja (though I've found her work to be one-note recently) and Crista.

the second picture would've been so great as a cover.

I just don't get this model, I don't get Anja for starters.. such a boring level of barbiness, but the guy.. I really wonder where the fascination started and how (was it instagram? dated someone famous? a sex tape?) because he's pretty standard for a model.

You have Anja but you put her to the side? And that annoying Unlucky Bland Smurf in the middle? He ruined the show so much. It doesn't say Vogue. It looks like a catalogue you get in stores.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL !!! Spanish Vogue, issue after issue, cover after cover, year after year always finds a way to look more amateur, horrendous and boring, this THIS is plain bad! Where´s the dream here? Where is the fantasy, where are the high fashion models, where are the clothing and imagery that used to be SOOOOO good in VOGUE... CENTURIES AGO lol !
