Vogue Germany April 2012 : Iris Strubegger by Peter Lindbergh

Iris looks beautiful and Lindbergh did his job well - as usual. I'm really excited about the editorial.
And Iris was on September's issue, it was really lovely (the cover and the editorial).

i have a feeling kati nescher will have another ed in this issue. she would also have been a perfect fit for the cover shot imo

What a great way to start the day when earlier I clicked on the Magazines forum link and saw the words, "Iris Strubegger by Peter Lindbergh," and the image did not disappoint, love the confident and steely gaze. I love Iris' face and think that she is a prime candidate for a beauty deal, do you hear me Estee Lauder... Lancome... Loreal??!! My nitpicks are that I wish the top / wrap was pulled up a couple of inches and her eyebrows look OK but are a bit Cabaret which is somewhat incongruous because of the overall natural vibe of the image.

i dont remember the last time that vogue germany produced a cover that looked absolutely incredible as this. i really love lindberg 's photography; it is often bring out the soul of models.

Stunning cover. Just what Lindbergh excels at. I'm so ready for the beach shoots now that the March issues are out of the way!

Surprisingly beautiful cover shot, though I'm not quite sure I like the orange font yet. Also, the white text is a bit too large for my taste. Can't wait to see the contents, as usual. ^_^

it's an arrestingly beautiful black and white image...the tonality in it is so rich. I'm drawn in to the image because of it's classic beauty, but after a bit of staring I no longer want to dive in. It could just be me, but I feel like there is something a little too stoic/static about her expression...it doesn't leave me wanting to stare at the image that I find so romantic...and after a while it actually leaves me cold.

Got to agree. Expressions are completely off in the shot, it is beatiful, though. I wish they picked another photograph of Iris, she is hardly to blame because she usually always channels expressions.

This is beautiful, it truly is. I love the pop of orange because its one colour you wouldnt think to just put on a b&w image but it works so well.

Very beautiful. Reminds me of Vogue Paris March with Natalia. Iris looks stunning. My only complain is that she looks like she's shrugging her shoulders or shivering or simply cold. But it's very subtle and doesn't ruin the otherwise great cover.

I saw Peter's name in the title and got excited right away.

Absolutely beautiful cover! Classic Lindbergh!!

Beautiful beyond words. There's the vintage feel to it. Glad to see Iris.

Love her stare. One of the best b/w covers from the immense quantity of them lately! If someone buys it please take some snaps of the main Ed, I'm sure it's gorgeous as well.
