Toni looks super-gorgeous there. Camilla Akrans is an unusual choice of photograpger, no?
The red masthead is kinda bothering me though, it dosen't really suit the cover shot. But I'm not going to let that get it down. Thanks Nadine!

thats beautiful! vogue de should get rid of lubomirski and stick to akrans and indlekofer+knoepfel in order to create a distinctive image. theres nothing worse than a mag without identity.

It's a nice shot and I like the way they cleared the text away from the face. It does mean you get a slightly cluttered column on the right, but this layout is so different from normal, I don't mind that. They've even given space to the shadows in the image, so you get a good feel of the mood.

I can't agree more. Lubomirski's photography is weird and I'm a huge Indlekofer & Knöpfel fan. 2010 will be the year hopefully!

just noticing why the cover doesn't seem like Camilla's normal work; it's a bit darker, making it a little less feminine and enticing even with the soft lighting. It fits German Vogue's aesthetic i guess, but Akran's photographs are so signature and this just looks like it coudl have been shot by Alexi Lubomirski.
