That looks like the Asos.com model.

Hate to disappoint you all, but that black/silver Vogue image is NOT the January 2009 Indian Vogue cover! Strange that that image would be on the conde nast website. It wasnt any of the previous covers and it sure isnt the January cover.
I recd my copy today and it is their "Shape Issue". Actress Tabu is on the cover in a pale while strapless gown, shot by Prasad Naik. Wish i could remember by photobucket password so i could upload an image of it.![]()
Its Vogue's Shape Issue...so probably wanted a full-figured gal on their cover. But even thats a scam. Tabu looks her THINNEST ever on the cover. They put Tabu on the cover? Why? Does she have some movie to promote? Don't get me wrong, Tabu is a beautiful woman, but I was hoping they'd try something new.

Indian Vogue only knows big brands like Dior and Versace. Those are the only ones that grace the covers. There's never even been an article on some of the edgier designers like Comme de Garcon etc. ELLE India had a lovely article on CdG last month so cant stop saying the word Comme de Garconits relatively better than the other covers... but still not wow.... nothing compared to the other vogues of the world!!
i think tabu is beautiful... personally i would have loved to see her wearing dries van noten ss09 or jil sander ss09 on the cover.. so it could actually do justice to her features, shape and beauty!

the cover is bad, it's good that they don't reprint but why they don't use local modelsthe only one Vogue India cover I liked is April 2008 with Lakshmi Menon, which was great...
