The Style of the editorial remember me to the ed of Steven Meisel in Vogue IT March2006 with the models : Amanda Moore, Sasha Pivovarova, Heather Bratton, Missy Rayder, Gemma Ward, Coco Rocha etc.
But equal i liked much this ed
Yeah, the last image looks like the one when they're exercising in the film, the other one with Tasha smoking and wearing a sheep jacket looks like Angelina Jolie wearing the same jacket ( I think).
The rehab theme doesn't really seem to be coming through with these pictures. As many have said, a lot of it seems inspired by one flew over the cukoo's nest (as stated by wwd) and girl interrupted. Even the name cleansing could refer to mental illness rather than rehab. As for the Britney references, well, Britney is crazy
I would agree that this seems much more like a mental health-themed editorial than a purely rehab one based on the pictures thus far. However we haven't seen the full edit - I think they're trying to do a sort of celebrity excess = mental breakdown thing. The images of Missy in the backseat of the limo and Iselin stepping out of the car with her underwear showing seem to point to the celebrity side of things. I assume (at least for the time being) that Miesel has done a sort of before and and after pic for each of the girls if this is anything like the Makeover Madness edit.
But yes this seems much more Girl, Interrupted or One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest than 28 Days but I think Meisel is going to show many facets of addictive behavior once we see the full editorial.
