Vogue Italia June 2012 : Isabella Rossellini by Steven Meisel

This is truly not well done, it looks outdated, and not because of her, i mean she looks happy and relaxed, but this feels so irrelevant. I love Isabella, so i aint that upset over this, but i can see why others are. He could have used her in much more better way.

I love this! Isabella has always been beyond beautiful. Her beauty is timeless and radiates from within.

Another blast from the past that nobody needs, i hate steven's nostalgia, things have to move on.

I wouldn't mind his nostalgia so much if it was done with the same skill as his work from that period was.

His work just seems complacent and lazy now.

^ One of his assistants probably had an off day.

I seriously cannot stop laughing at that cover. The picture with that tagline, it's so cheesy.

According to the website Donna Mitchell, Lauren Helm, Susan Forristal, Carolyn Murphy and Guinevere Van Seenus are also in the main editorial

^that's an interesting cast to look forward to.

it left me speechless...really don't know what to say

Sure, the cast is great, but I would have rather seen Guinevere or Carolyn on the cover. This doesn't feel like a cover shot, more like a candid.

It probably would have looked lame with any of those models on the cover. The problem here isn't with Isabella.

I give my vote to Vogue Taiwan June.

:sick::sick::sick:

Exactly, the cast seems promising though, so hopefully the unstellar cover image is not the indication of how the ed will be like, hopefully.

Its time for Franca and Steven to leave and let some fresh blood coming in.I find their issues to be stale and formulatic. The Italian Vogue has seriously become outdated .

i thought that i was mistaking and that is was a vintage cover !!! That is just beyong wrong!!!!

Absolutely... Vogue Italia is utterly irrelevant right now. Anyway, I blame Franca the most. It's time to get rid of her and her pretentious approach to fashion. Meisel's work looks tired, blasé and uninspired though...

Vogue as a masthead is at its lowest point. Leafing through the pages of any edition of Vogue is unbearable.
