Such an ugly cover-- uglier than the usual IV covers: it looks like one of those ads for cheap makeup brands like Candies in an 80s Seventeen magazine that my older sister had.

The edits are great, though. I guess IV loves to troll with stupid-looking covers but than come through with strong edits.

Although is that before or after reading the thousand other threads where people like something just because their favourite model is making an appearance in it?

It just seems par for the course to me, that people will express superficial excitement over each fleeting moment in fashion - it's probably half the fun of it - and if the comments are generally positive and welcoming, it's better to read that than ten pages of complaint about the use of a celebrity name. These days, I see too much of that, to not like this - the sound of Meisel being welcomed back. We all know it's not his best work, but it's what it represents.

Worst covers since a long time. But the main ed is really nice. Meisel was present non-sense after non-sense so seeing something this sober is nice. The best he's done since a long time. Less is more, indeed.

On the other hand Weber wins here. Wow. Really, wow!

I think the cover is pretty cool and I like the edits/portraits. Nice to have Meisel back at VI, but this is typical Meisel. Not complaining, but was hoping for something more creative for his return.

Franca and Meisel know how to do good PR. The "Meisel leaving VI" shtick worked, and now you all are lapping up the same old studio editorials you were dragging him for months earlier.

Mia Isis saves this mess though.

^ I think people in general -myself included- are more excited about the cast than this being Meisel's comeback or whatever. I think it's undeniable that the portraits are beautiful even if the photography is not groundbreaking.

The cover is complete mess, and a sad attempt at being different or "edgy".

It may not be your cup of tea but why would you not take us at our word that we like it? Your opinion is valid but don't dismiss ours just because were the majority.
