What I love about this issue isn’t the fact of Meisel’s return but how they cast all the models and bring the whole ‘age issue’ concept to life. And it’s not just about Meisel here. Weber’s edit is pure magic. Everything here works. I actually like the cover just because it’s very Vogue Italia/Meisel.

Yes, she is the daughter of Cindy and that nightclub owner.

I cannot single out any of the women with having the 'best' shot, but I'm very intrigued with Verde Visconti and Mariel Hemingway's raw beauty. They make Daria seem downright pedestrian and gimmicky.

Is this Bambi the legendary transgendered model & performer who had a docu out few years ago, anyone know?

My God, yes she is!! By far the hottest 80 year old I've seen.

Very ugly cover and boring editorials. Not drawn to any of it. It also doesn't help that I don't know most of those women.

Hope August is also Meisel and has a model on the cover.

I'm not a fan of the covers per se but I love their energy. The cover story however is magnificent. Such a beautiful cast. I'm especially amazed by Donna Jordan, Verde Visconti and Kristina Peminova but they honestly all look amazing.
Of course it's only portraits and we tend to be more obsessed by his crazy editorials but absolutely nobody does portraits like him today. It's a subtle but strong statement and a fabulous comeback for Meisel and his team. The styling is once again impeccable and so are the hair & makeup. Definitely buying this !

Funny how nobody was interested in Maddison Brown when she was a model and everybody thought she was boring, and now that she's in a movie with Nicole Kidman she books Miu Miu and Vogue Italia by Steven Meisel.
