Vogue Italia November 2007 : Coco Rocha & Meghan Collison by Steven Meisel

I mostly like this editorial, I don't like some some pics though... Meghan's shots are mostly better than Coco's imo :innocent:

Oh wow that Wild Warriors edit is absoloutely sublime, reminds me why i love fashion photography, thank you Meisel.

That's amazing! I never expected to see such kind of concept in this issue judging by the cover. I quite like it!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Seriously, never have I seen something like this before. I was expecting something really minimal and just Coco and Meghan laying around in fur.
It's a beautiful intense mix of CULTURE, which is pretty rare to be so intricate and creative.

Wow that editorial looks incredible. (Coco doing the better part but Meghan definately still has room to grow).

I can't wait to see Roversi's editorial ^_^

what a fantastic ed. meghan is really growing on me. coco definately dominated the ed, but thats probably because she has been doing it longer and knows how to rock a shoot. meghan is definately getting better though

in a way, i find it very masculine...
Isn't it quite obvious for the topic given, such as wild+warriors?;)
This doesn't differ either since Steven is quite traditional and his take on creativity is rather flat. although he takes amazing pictures without a doubt.

^oh yes you're right...
i didn't even pay attention to the title... just the outfits and moustache on coco (one obvious masculine access.)
but honestly i still don't know what to think....
for sure this is one of the first very winter editorial i'm seeing this season, i think...
but then there are these sort of ethno-fashion esquimo portraits that i'm not keen of...
but the fight shoots are just amazing!!!!!
and honestly the styling is amazing!!!! i feel protected when seeing this... feel confortable, too...
and the Galliano menswear.... humm love it!

That editorial inside is far more exciting than the cover would suggest. I thought the lead editorial would be some tame fur story - but instead there's a sort of... arctic tundra aesthetic going on, and it reminds me of going to the museum and seeing all the intricate outfits on display, made by the Inuit, and realising close-up, just how much skill goes into making those clothes, using the barest of resources.

great ed, I love all those asian/inuit references. It reminds me of some pics Meisel did for US Vogue from june 2005, but the Coco/Meghan story is way better.

^That is one of my favorite eds ever, I have to say I prefer that over Cocoand Megans, for some reason its not doing to much for me.

I seriously don't like it
I'm not a fan of too artificial pictures.

I guess this are good photographs though
