As usual, another underwhelming issue from VI. Kinda disappointed cause the main ed. is an OG only. Although I'm so looking forward to seeing it as well as Amber by McDean. :)

mix of sex & military is the only one what`s interested me in september`s (!) issue (because of the styling: i simply adore uniform combined with leather and strict stuff). i`m really thinking to get over with vogue italia each month buying which started in 2000 for me, coz it started to be flushing money down the drain

Great minds, think alike.

I'm so disappointed once again. I'm only interested to see Amber's editorial.
With all the other editorials, i'm either not happy with the model or the photographer. Plus I bet the other models are probably not going to be biggies.

I wish Vogue Italia would bring some new photographers.
Emma Summerton or Pierpaolo Ferrari or Richard Burbridge or Miles Aldridge bring nothing new to the table anymore. Just more of the same.
Where are the likes of Vanderperre, Jackson, McLellan etc?

The girl in the beauty is Patricia van der Vliet (by Richard Burbridge)
Wild & Chic, the model is Anja Rubik (by Camilla Akrans)
and the one in Emma Summerton's story is Constance Jablonski

It's a sad day when Vogue Italia sounds more stale than Vogue US...

tbh this issue is so poor and predictable that I recommend no one see it….EVER.
Meisel didn’t have much chance in rescuing this due to the poor script/idea and in my opinion Ellen von Unwerth was the only decent think in this issue.

I like the idea of 'Face The Future' but I would of definitely preferred it as a multi-girl ed for some variation.

^ Another eternally awesome combination! Love it, seems dynamic enough and greatly styled! So it is accompanyied by article on Amber, is this all of it?

What? So that's Carolyn wearing a mask? I thought castings would have been held for Pete Burns and Amanda Lepore look-a-likes. Fair to say that I love Meisel's editorial, it's so fabulously weird. Amber's editorial is attractive also, I wasn't to expect nothing less from a Amber and McDean collaboration.

^^If u're talking about Amber Valletta's ed, yes that's all.
I can snap the rest of the stories if anyone's interested...? Just ask here...
