Vogue Japan December 2018 : Kaia Gerber by Luigi & Iango

Both covers are breathtaking - I think the second is stronger but the details in her hair in the first cover are captured in a great way.

Both covers are great, but that black and white is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. Baby Gia/Shana Z/Cindy Crawford vibes, this girl may be getting more opportunities because of her name but in my opinion she is slaying them.

I was thinking earlier, about how Cindy was sold as Baby Gia, and now Kaia is being sold as Baby Cindy, but as you go down the line, the end result gets ever more diluted...

I know I sound like a broken record but it annoys me so much that her eyes are so close together. If she always gives those lifeless, emotionless pictures (or weird pictures if she tries some emotion), there should at least be a real beauty to look at but there is not.

Lol, I'd say she's pretty but not a great beauty. A good portrait photographer and makeup artist could bring out her best.
The second cover is great, the first is not.
If you don't have the most exquisite face why do so many extreme close-up shots.

Not ground-breaking but it's not supposed to be. Kaia looks beautiful and striking, so I'm happy. Hope the contents are decent!

Stunning! Depsite the ambivalence surrounding this girl, it cannot be denied that she can MODEL, particularly her non-smiley range.

As mentioned by someone else, she is indeed the combination of Cindy, Gia & Shana.

The b&w cover is stunning! But that's it. The other one is really boring.

An underage privileged white girl channeling Gia, one of the most complex models of all times, I sure have seen it all now.

Can we leave the sultriness to grown up women?

Kaia's editorial is on Luigi & Iango's Instagram. There are a couple nice shots, but it's largely very dull and lifeless.

Most of L&I's photos look like hair product ad, I am not sure this is a bad thing or good thing.

The second cover is much better.

Keen on Kaia (14 pages) Vogue Japan covered themselves by also running a feature on Kaia, just so nobody can accuse them employing an underaged model. 2 Pages.
