Vogue Netherlands December 2022 : Lara Stone & Linda Spierings by Philippe Vogelenzang

Finally, some some personality, some balls from this Vogue-- even if it looks just like Carine's Vogue Paris.

Lara’s cover is good. Her attitude is all that’s needed. And Ellen doing I&V looks good.

Love both covers, fitting right with the December month. Photography is by Philippe Vogelenzang, not Ellen von Unwerth - her pictures get featured inside the issue.

My mistake, just realized that. Sorry

That’s unfortunate it’s not shot by Ellen. I was rooting for her to finally have made it out of the 90s and onto something new and looking good.

(Poor Linda got punk'd. Older women should never be styled with messy, unkempt hair: She looks like a resident of Skid Row. They did her real dirty.)

GORGEOUS !!! These are cover worthy images !!! Lara is brilliant, as always :)

These are gorgeous! Missed seeing Lara on covers.

both covers are good even though I wish there was no hand on Lara’s cover (the thumb and lips things is sooooo overdone)

Another cover...?

There is no third cover; this is just a 2b's way of showing their appreciation to Ellen von Unwerth. However, even without a separate cover, the whole ed is amazing - especially having on mind that Mathilda Gvarliani is still a sort of newcomer when it comes to modelling.

This issue is definitely a December's highlight! Love it!!!

Gorgeous issue, indeed. Very much Carine’s Vogue Paris December issues of the late-2000s, down to the art direction and layout. Just divine.

Every story is solid, and flows with a holiday spirit. But not the tacky G-rated Christmas trappings— just a very high fashion-y brand of decadence: The black and gold of “Let It Show”; the adult-rated diamonds and furs of the coverstory; the dark, cocktail naughtiness of Ellen’s “Rebel Rebel”. But my fav story is Pablo Delfos’ of Bracha van Doesburgh and Nasrdin Dchar, with my fav shot being Nasrdin seated casually on a stepstool— but wearing a pair of women’s classic stilettos (…take note on how to showcase casual with so touch of naughtiness to full effect, Samira…).

Who’d have thunk Vogue Nederland and US Vogue bringing the wintry holiday glam back…???
