i think it is actually a beautiul cover, it is a great beauty shot of Daria, not that it is hard to make her look beautiful!!! the simplicity of the cover, reflects how effortless her beauty is...

I disagree, as I said it looks like classic I&V to me, the same editorial shot by Sims or Demarchelier would look more clinical and catalogue-like to me

I disagree, Sims can do just as good as I&V at times, but I'm trying to say
is that the interesting part that makes up ADN de la mode is mostly the styling rather than the photography itself.

Classic or not, is the same ol' I&V studio style that we've seen numerous times before

Also interesting is how that Victor Demarchelier shot reminds me of Patrick's work but has sort of its own moodiness. I like it a lot - I spy a couple of VP first timers in there.

I agree, Victor's work is more moody that Patrick's which I love

Eniko & Iris' YSL shot
Tao & that female model which i do not know D) Giorgio Armani's shot
Eniko's Nina Ricci shot

The instant I saw the cover I was convinced this would be a good issue.
Daria looks soft and understated and the styling doesn't overwhelm her, allowing her gorgeous face to draw you in.
And the I&V editorial looks effing AMAZING, I mean hands-down the best thing I've seen all year. Spectacular casting, superb styling, and the images capture everything I love about fashion.
I'll be waiting on pins and needles to get this
