When a Paris Vogue isn't great, I'm always torn as to whether to get it. I bought last month's issue and didn't really bother looking at it afterwards - yet I know I'd regret not buying it at all.

That's the thing about Vogue Paris... you might not like it right now... but you most always regret not buying it later & then you're scrambling to find it on eBay, etc.

I feel like I don't see a "real" VP issue since August 2008... But some eds are still interesting, for example Malgosia's, which I loved

Malgosia's ed is gorgeous, the best one IMO.

I certainly have had moments like that myself, but isn't it for some months now that VP has been...lacking? I guess it's a personal thing of course...

It's great to see all these scans....but it seems really that VP has lost it's touch.

Agree. Everything is just "nice". Not a single editorial really got me excited since the beginning of 2009...

I buy it every month, even if I don't like it, becuase I know I will regret not doing so. Plus, editorials I think are bad end up growing on me and I'll love them a couple of months later. The thing about VP is that there is always something to be discovered everytime one opens the magazine. There is an added dimension which one may not notice the first time around. It's what I like to call a cerebral fashion mag

Hahah that made me gigle, i get it almost for free, seriously cheap, so i wouldnt miss buying it even if i hated the issue (it would be silly ), which i did, VPs quality is not top notch for a while now imho.

The Cannes supplement is disapointing. Just a collection of pics from previous years of many people, actors, models, and an interview of Milla Jovovitch.
The issue is great, lots of things to read.
