wow this is daria's best VP cover since august 2008. i love it. the ed looks very good too, i really like it when they use someone outside the VP crew to do the styling with them, especially if it's someone like camilla nickerson or joe mckenna (adn de la mode)...

It is so nice to see Freja back in VP again! She steals every shot she is in, completely overshadowing Lara (which is not an easy feat) and Dree (a much easier task seeing as she has the same boring expression in every picture). My fingers are crossed that Freja gets a much-deserved VP cover this year!

I am so sick of this duo...but the cover is flawless, especially against that backdrop!

And the main ed is really interesting, I would've preferred everything on location but some of the studio shots are strong too, I'm really happy for Anna De Rijk's VP debut .

I just CAN'T get enough of Daria !!! She looks breathtaking on the cover and also in the spread... Honestly, they're perfection!! (To me, Balmain seems custom-made for Daria - it suits her impeccably!)

Great to see Camilla Nickerson working in VP... Is it their first collaboration?

Would love to see Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele styling some pages... Her comeback was fabulous!

Interesting to note that Testino isn't a regular photographer as before... Then again change is good! Carine and Emmanuelle are doing a fantastic job...

But seriously.... Tavi Gevinson for "Une Fille, Un Style"? I'm sorry... but NO!! Make way for people like Shala Monroque, Daphne Guinness, Lauren Santo Domingo, Anna Dello Russo et al!

Alright, my previous post was a bit too exaggerated. Freja is VERY strong and overshadows both Lara and Dree in a majority of the shots, but there are a couple where the always captivating Lara is the center of attention period. She looks divine in this editorial. Every bit the coy sex pot. It amazes me that no matter how many times she plays the sex kitten, she always seems to reinvent herself and bring something new to the table each time. Pure genius.

Dree just cannot compete with Lara and Freja. She just plays the third wheel to their entrancing expressions. I have no idea why she is even in this editorial. If they wanted to have a third model, they should have cast someone who could at least match Lara and Freja's skills. Someone like Sasha, Eniko, or Iris.
