I wasn't planning to buy the magazine but when i saw the cover in the newsstand i thought it would be nice to have that issue.

I was happy to see Daria while browsing through the pages.

Maybe it's because it's been a long time i bought a Vogue but i found it's a bit heavy.
When i will read the articles my arms are going to end up like Popeye the Sailor Man.

This issue is charged with nudity, sexuality and eroticism, mostly from the Carine era. I love it nonetheless and will buy it for sure, but it would've been nice to see some focus on timeless fashion.

They should release this history stuff as a separate book or as a supplement like it was for 90s anniversary issue
I hate the layout, all this compilation of old bad scans of issues from 60-70s ( because they don’t have these photos in their digital archive or because of unauthorized rights) with new clean shots in strange mix is such a bad visual work. emmanuele hates carine so there is almost nothing made by her. It’s a sad issue. Sad, lazy and poorly executed. I see just a bad work of photo editor with Emmanuelle cutting out all carine stuff. I have all these magazines in my collection so sorry I don’t need them in bad layout

i find it was rather bizarre to have a sole feature for Daria nevertheless how much I like her.
I mean if it is a nostalgic thing, if I was Alt I would include all those girls from that nightlight earlier 2000 moment like Daria, Natasha, Lara, Lily, Sasha, Gemma, Snejana, Vlada...

Raquel and Daria are heavily featured ahah LOVE IT !!! These two girls represent indeed Vogue Paris: they are two of the most used models under both Carine and Emmanuelle. It would have been wonderful to see them together on a separate cover but besides that it's clear it's all reprints and indeed you could NEVER EVER do shoots like these nowadays because of people's attitude towards sex and nudity and ''proper image'' and all of that BS .

Daria and Raquel are the very best models of all time. I’m quite happy to see them heavily featured in the issue. Sad that Gigi Bella kaia rianne etc are no where to be found. That says a lot about their modeling talent.

This feels like such a middle finger to what fashion imagery is now and what is to come. Some incredible images but you can tell many were specifically picked out for their controversial elements.. and I have no problem with that, it's good to bring them to present and send this very vivid reminder to people of what fashion imagery could be.. not always positive but not always so.. meaningless and timid to say anything at all about its current socioeconomic context. I also wonder if it was the first time Alt looked at some of them too lol, or whether she thinks it was all one missed opportunity, cause all she seemed to have to say during her time as EIC, was that she really loved a pair of jeans and a jacket when she was 20 in 1987. Too simple-minded for the standards exemplified here.

God knows how much I love this community, but it really makes me so effing angry when some people forget that kindness is one of the most important human characteristics. It is not that hard to say a simple "thank you", and yet it can really change the outlook of someone else's day.

Especially if that someone else happens to be YOU my love @aracic - an extraordinary human being who is willing to *BUY* a printed magazine, tear it apart, scan it page by page, digitally remove all the (again, "thanks" to manual scanning!) artifacts, crop it and properly align it, and on the top of ALL that to post it here for all of us to see it, for FREE!

i know it's a monthly magazine, but the quality of paper they use nowadays makes me really sad, especially with all these iconic photographs.
