Wavy Styles

I'd like to get hair like the blonde's too. I have naturally wavy hair, but it's easier to make it puffy than to have smooth strands like that.

If you don’t already have layers, get some cut into your hair.
I find using a shampoo & conditioner for curly hair helps define the natural waves, I recommend using Tigi Curls Rock or *** curl up :)

i also have wavy hair and find that frederic fekkai wave creating spray works miracles.

Does anyone know how, or of any products to achieve this look? My hair is naturally wavy but fluffy after being washed, and I want to keep the body but smooth it down, like Ashley Olsen, Kate Moss kind of hair.

well I have naturally wavy hair and I put mousse in it after I get out of the shower, it doesn't get hard but just gives it definition and keeps it from frizzing.

< ~~~ I just let mine dry naturally to get it wavy as you can see in my photo, I don't use any products. BUT to get a really nice wavy look.. by putting straightning balm on my hair when it is damp (yep that is STRAIGHTNING BALM girlies!), then make individual twists (this takes about 5 minutes as I do big twists not little thin ones - you don't want to look like Goldilocks!)
Then when it is dried naturally I add a little bit more straightning balm by rubbing in on the locks and scrunching them...and you get gorgeous tassled and shiny wavy hair! Loves it!

I highly recommend Graham Webb's Making Waves product for boosting wavy hair into curls. It holds without getting sticky/crunchy. I've tried many products and always come back to this. Show at the bottom of this photo:

I used to be interested in getting my hair wavy too. you could try twisting it into a bun or braiding it when its damp and then sleeping on it, or flipping your hair over when its wet and running gelled fingers through your hair and scrunching. you could also try twisting individual sections with your fingers wth pomade or wax.hope this helps

This might sound a little bit crazy but there was a segment on Access Hollywood about two years ago that showed how some Hollywood celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and MKA get their wavy hair. I've been trying to find in all over the web because wavy hair is something I've always tried to achieve but fail miserably at it time and time again.

From memory I think this is how it's done:

-Wash your hair and towel dry
-Spray some sort of curling product in your hair (any one that you own)
-Take some loofahs, cut each of them up into about 3 pieces
-Take a piece of loofah and wrap a section of your hair around it. When you get to your scalp, tie the loofah piece into a knot to let it rest on your head. Repeat this process about 8-10 times until you've wrapped up all your hair
-Let your hair air dry. When hair is about dry, put in some leave in conditioner and run your fingers through the strands to get the look you want.
-Hairspray

I haven't tried it yet and it sounds kinda funny but it's something to try if you've tried every different method possible and none of them have worked for you.

You don't necessarily need a loofah for that. You can do it with cut-up pieces of fabric, like if you have an old bandana or t-shirt lying around.

I think I might try it soon. :innocent: My hair's only just past my chin, though, so it's not going to be mermaid-like.

i have thin, semi straight asian hair but if i shower at night and sleep on it, i get a slight messy wave. but i will seriously looooove anyone who can tell me how to get hairstyles similiar to either of these
