Mostly for men, I was wondering what you guys though about this. Post any pictures you have, I am looking more into this, and what hoodies are more suitable for this style. Any help? Whats your take on it? So far, I'm liking it.

i do this all the time, well lately because southern california is freakin cold! the boys of MCR and many new yorkers are known for this streetstyle...it's all about layering to keep warm, and then when done right it looks good.

i layer gap hoodies under cropped leather moto jackets

im guessing you use zip up hoodies correct? i havent seen this look with non zip up hoodies.

any recomendations as to which brands make the best hoodies suited for wear under a blazer? I would assume hoodies with lighter fabrics.

I think its very lowclass, and makes people who cant dress, think they are stylish. This look should be banned. Just wear the hoodie, what is the point of the blazer on top? VERY UGLY!

NOW I DO rock my hoodie under my leather jacket from time to time, but that is street style, very NYC, its looks better than the Blazer look.

I think it looks good with the propper combo. The hoodie under the leather jacket is cool, I agree. Lets see what other tFs members have to say...

Its very IN within the urban/African American crowd!

I see that people rock it with a close faced (no zip) hoodie or zip up. I like it better with zip up. Simply because if you are rocking a flashy shirt, you will be able to show that layer also.

I do that, too. wearing my hooded sweat (or zipped sweatshirt) under my blazer when it's a bit cold. i think i've already post that onto the what are you wearing? thread.
it's pretty common. you can wear it with jeans or suit-trousers... if you wear jeans you can wear sneakers or more classy shoes. and if you wear a trousers' suit, i would prefer to wear converse.

I like this look only really on women. For men it feels dated and contrived to me. But anything can be done well if it suits your personal style.

I like that combination. To me it's quite laid back, sort of college-y.

I think this look is right for lazy days and Sunday mornings. I would not wear it to anything very formal and I also think it is more of a youth trend. I don't know how this would look on older women or men.

it's also not a trend, everyone wore this 3 years ago, but regardless of that it looks ok, hoodies look 1000x better under military/leather jackets though.

Everyone did that last year or 2 years ago here. But I think it looks nice :)

oh yah! i prefer the thin dancer like hoodies, by gap that are cotton lycra....so they're super form fitting and dont add extra bulk but keep you nice and cozy

Ooh, I love this look! It's casual and warm, what more could you want?
It only works with thinner hoodies though. The big bulky ones just look stupid.

here's how i wear it, with a leather j-lo moto jacket, a gap long hoodie in olive green, black leggings (cause it's damn cold here in southern caliornia), and tall fry boots.......

This look scares me...Whenever I wear hoodies (which is rare) I make sure not to wear a blazer with it, it's such a tired and wannabe rocker look.

i don't know where you have been. but with my 10 years in nyc, everyone does this look from models to rich to students...everyone.

I've worn hoodies with blazers on more than many occassions...
sometimes I want to 'feel' like im dressing 'nicer' while wearing sweatpants so i'll throw on a blazer with my hoodie....

they wear a shirt with tie under a zipped sweater, or even hoodie...

then why not hodie under blazer? of course if it's nicely combined.

they make them even sewed together for couple of years... i'm generaly not crazy about it but its ok...
