Wearing Blazers with Hoods

talking about revival. if any of you have checked out the DKNY S/S '07 collection you will have noticed some of the models sporting this look.

i dont care if it's trendy or not. it's warm and comfortable. i think it is a unisex thing too. im a girl, and i wear this all the time....especially paird with leggings and a white lacey dress, looks very chic IMPO, cuts the girlyness back a bit and makes it edgy.

I don't think its a trend. Its just a way of layering.

yup, definitely a layering thing! i dont do it often (or as much now), though jus the other day, i was in a rush and it was cold and didnt really want to wear me coat so put me grey hoodie on with me balck blazer on.
more for comfort then fashion statment, though having said that, i think it looks awrite!

I tried it, midway through the day I ended up taking the hoodie off and leaving it in my car. It's so unnatural for me, I felt like I was trying to be hip. Like "Im soo cool, I can wear a blazer w/ a hoodie!!"

whatever you feel comfortable wearing is cool, everyone is different. this may have been seen as a trend at its beginings a while back, but formed into a certain hip/casual style. i think its a good look with the right pieces of clothing.
