The shape of it looks kinda like lanvin but i havent any exposed zipper from lanvin so im not really sure...hmm...who could it be? anybody else? lol

I think Prada. It looks like a (possibly never produced for retail) womenswear interpretation of the men's fall '08 collection.

Help ID a vintage ball gown??

Hi Fashionistas:

I am trying to ID the gown in this picture so I can post a want with vintage shops. I think it is a Valentino from the 1980's and the image is from a Vogue Italia supplement (model is Kim Alexis, I'm pretty sure.) Help with IDing the designer, year and best of all full editorial would be very appreciated. (Note: a local vintage shop suggested it may be de la Renta, but I'm not so sure - so I leave it to you experts!!
