I know the makeup and hair is horrid to look at. It is for an 80's retrospective party being thrown by a designer friend. I am just trying to see if there is not a more complete picture I can track down showing the whole dress.

Got the answer. It is Valentino. Someone has identified the photograher Marco Glaviano, and states it is from Linea Italia March 82' - but this doesn't look like a Spring shot to me.

Thank you Spike! Is it silly to ask is there any shop online that has this item? Don't tell me LV only sells bags/accessories. I've checked so many of the big sites already (net-a-porter, browns, yoox etc) and none of them have Louis Vuitton listed, even if it's just for accessories.

As far as I know LV ready to wear is sold exclusively in LV boutiques and a few wholesale locations. I've never seen it sold online.

Here's the Vuitton website. Go to collections, choose ready to wear from the list at the left, then choose the season and it'll have all of the looks. When you click on one it gives you details about the pieces, and you can zoom in on the images.
