What have you bought but never worn?

As a form of retail therapy...
i think it would be good to cleanse our souls and assuage our guilt by admitting to all of the items which we have never worn or have only worn once...


make a list or post pics of all the things that hang or sit idly in your closet..never seeing the light of day...

perrhaps this excercise will remind us of some of the things we have forgotten and encourage us to break them out and give them a life of their own...

These were all bought during times where I wanted to try something *new* First of all, they all look terrible on me and second, they're very hard to wear... the plaid is too loose, the cardigan is heavy and big, and the boots hurt my feet I should stick to what I am comfortable with, I suppose

Lots of shirts. I always buy classical shirts for like 200$, have ten of them, and i never wear them, except my flannel plaids, ruffled Day Birger, and black H&M which costed me 15$.. Three of them still with tags, even though bought for 6 months - 18 months ago

Basics like white tees.. I can't stand to only wear white t-shirts alone as they don't flatter me + if i wear a sweater i rarely wear a tee under it, and if i do, it's black and under cardigans, i always wear a striped or printed one.

Black linen trousers, ordered online, which turned out to be 4 sizes too big..

Oddly, the things that I don't wear are always the really inexpensive things that were on sale. I bought a skirt from Urban Outfitters on sale for $25... I bought it because of the SALE GOGGLES. If it were regular price I wouldn't have even thought of buying it.

Of course, the items that I buy for $250 are the ones I always wear!

I need to turn off my sale goggles.

the silver ones have only ever been used for a photo shoot, mainly because they are a size too small and hell you get hot in them

*red trench like coat with open neckline cotton
*black silk mini dress/tunic, very plain
*brown/copper/bronze lurex skirt which i bought with the intention to wear as a top.
*etc etc

- Gaultier sailor sweater (I ADORE Gaultier, and I ADORE his sailor stuff, but this piece just doesnt work, unfortunately, Im going to try to modify it)
- Chocolate Gucci crewneck sweater (I dont wear brown, esp not chocolate)
- Chocolate Gucci poplin pants (once again, I dont do chocolate)

Im sure I have other ****** hanging around, gotta dig.

Paul Smith sweater bought 1,5 years ago, but turned out to be huge.. It was a small, but i swear, it fitted more like a L.. anyway, i was like really ill, had high fever and was so dizzy when it arrived, so when i tried it on, i got this brilliant idea about cutting up the sleeves and the length with a scissor.. I'm not quite sure where it is at the moment, but it really breaks my heart that i ruined such a pretty sweater. I don't think i'd wear it alot now anyway, but still..

I bought this beautiful green vintage dress with small blue flowers on it that just is a tad bit too small but I cant get rid of it because it is too small. It is straight out of a detective movie. I extremely good at not getting things I know I'm not going to wear.
