Valeria Mazza is definitely NOT a supermodel! Yes, she was there, she walked some shows, but then? Where are the VOGUE US, Italia, France, UK covers? Where are the blue chip campaigns? Where are the commercials?

To resume, Valeria's career is just based on Versace, Guess, Sports Illustrated and some TV programs in Spain & Italy. That´s all. You can't put her on the same group that Claudia, Naomi, Cindy, Linda, etc.

Valeria Mazza is very famous in Italy for example, she has a big commercial now as only girl, very long and she's very famous here, in Italy everyone know her, she's invited in many prestigious channels and she's named as a supermodel, she's a supermodel but of course in my opinion she's far from Linda, Naomi, Eva, Claudia etc but she knows them and she worked with them back then!!!

I´ve been following fashion for years, and I recognise Valeria Mazza got an incredible recognition for a latinamerican model in the middle of the 90´s, maybe you can call her top model, but NEVER "supermodel". She is famous in some countries and mainly because of her TV shows, but taking about fashion, her career is far away from what a super is. You base your comments on what a newspaper or some irrelevant publications said, but I invite you to "research" about Cindy´s, Claudia´s, Kate´s, Linda´s, Naomi´s, Christy´s and now Gisele´s careers and you will realise what a supermodel is. If we follow that patron, every model with 2 or 3 class B campaigns and a little of press would be an icon.

That's what I'm trying to say, Not only in Italy, in UAE, Spain, UK, U.S as well reffers to her as SUPERMODEL.

obviously she hasn't got the same prestige or recognize as Cindy, Claudia, Naomi or kate, but she is a supermodel too, maybe the last one of the ranking but she is...

She was offered to play the rol of the BOND GIRL and other movies but she always said NO. She worked for MTV Fashion Style Latin America (as Cindy in EEUU)

She appears in fashion conferences next to Marco Glaviano and Roberto Cavalli at the Civic Museum of Fashion in Italy (not Cindy, not Claudia, not Kate)

She is a good friend of Eva Herzigova, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen.

Valeria became really famous in 1996, the others became famous earlier. She started modelling in Europe and US in lates 1993. And began here career with Guess in 1995/1996 in 1998 she retired... in only 5 years she became an icon. She was the first south american top model doing a big international career and she became into a supermodel. Then... just then appeared Gisele and others...

im sorry but claudia did tonnes of chanel campaigns, ysl, salvatore, dolce and gabbana, etc and then tonnes of cosmetic contracts. her campaigns are prestige and valerie(who?) got escada and versace which were her most prestigious campaigns.

claudia and other supers got thousands of international magazine covers, i wonder how many valeria got?

this girl doesnt even have a wiki profile. that says a lot!

I have literally never head the name Valeria Mazza in my entire life, and I know of 14 year old Russian girls from the middle of Siberia who have never stepped foot on a runway in their lives.
