^Yah.. I definetly didn't go for something traditional.. because I want to be able to wear the dress again and again, and a black cocktail dress is definetly something that can be worn again and again. Well.. I haven't recieved it yet (i bought it on eBay)-- but the seller SAID it was christian lacroix... though the dress went for $45 USD. Whether it is authentic or not, I don't really care, because it's still a cheap price for a prom dress and I like the dress.

Actually a couple days here they had an sale and there was a GENUINE Valentino couture gown worth $35,000 selling for $400. My eyes popped out when I saw it.

I'm not sure that I'll go to prom... but if I decide to, I'll just recycle the dress that I wore to the governor's inaugural ball in January.

I think the dress looks fine. If you have something simple like that wear lots of jewelry! no need to add anything to your dress. Get either long dangling earrings or a necklace, and a tiara or some jewelry on your hair and a bracelet whatever you want. It would look nice!

hm I think you can always have someone design it for you or you can design it yourself? it seems like a simple dress, just get the right fabric and fitting. But other than that I have no idea where you can find a dress in any store that is similar to what Racheal is wearing.

Prom 2006

Ok everyone well my prom is coming up and i am having trouble finding a really cool dress ! I dont want one that all these middle class girls have like from the department stores or wherever, i want a cool one from a boutique or something, i have already looked at my favorite spots and i cant seem to find anything remotley formal i am in deep need of some help/advice thanks a ton guys!!
