I would like to have a custom watch made by Montres Allison. Something in pink, encrusted with diamonds. All their watches are automatic (winding) and made here in Colorado. A lot of famous actors and athletes have had custom work done by them (I saw some pictures of watches that they have done for celebs on their website forum, and I saw the owner of the company on the Denver news.)

My dream watches are patek philippe 24 (white gold with two strips of diamonds on either side of the dial) the rolex cellissima (blue leather strap with diamonds all around the dial) and cartier tank two tone....sigh
Twenty years ago I committed to getting the perfect watch and for a year I cliiped ads-looked in jewelery store windows-read reveiws and engaged in obsesive behavior in my quest for the PERFECT watch. This was going to be my one watch and it was going to be so perfect that when I died my son would wear it. Once I got this watch, I was going to be done with watches and would never have to think about them again. Anyway after all my study I went for a Mavado. I loved the simple design and figured that if it was good enough for MOMA it was good enough for me. A friend who was in the watch biz got me a solid gold mechanical Mavado for the wholesale price of $180. Anyway I got the watch and wore it every day in perfect happiness until about 5 years ago when I was discussing watches with someone who told me that my $180 watch was now worth $1400. At that moment I felt I had to kind of baby it, as it was after all now a $1400 watch.
So a new quest for a second perfect watch began, this time a SS rock that I wouldn't have to baby. I won't bore you with the details of this quest, sufice to say last Monday I bought it

but as for a watch that has been created already, its the Corum potpourri. These are terrible photos, a better one can be found at corum.ch but it is flash so I couldn't post it here
it is my mother's watch but when I ask to borrow it, she tells me to buy my own.. when I was young she wouldn't lend things to me for fear I would break it.. now, this..

My dream watch is the Chopard Happy Diamond Watch with 7 Diamonds in the face. My mom is going to buy it for me for my law school graduation (3 years from now) Retail: $16,000

It was a Black Chanel J12 until I brought one and now it is a vintage gold rolex like Ashley Olsen and Lindsay Lohan
