Which Designer......

some of those and maybe.. amir slama and betsey johnson

Carol Christian Poell

Maurizio Altieri

they're small, so I will find job satisfaction I can't get working for big company.
plus they are more of artisans. actually nice people.

for some reason I wouldn't like to work with Helmut Lang, though I like his stuff a lot.

YSL-the man himself. No explanation needed.

I second that emotion , although after watching the two recent films about him and the atelier at Avenue Marceau , I feel that one would soon need a course of tranquillisers to calm oneself down !!!

The man lives on his nerves , but that's the price of being a genius , I suppose !!! :(

KIT :innocent:

1st - Donatella Versace
2nd - Tom Ford for Gucci (if he was still there)
3rd - Valentino
4th - Lagerfeld
5th - McQueen
6th - Galliano
7th - Armani

Me too Runner!!

It would definitely be somebody quiet and somebody I indentify with personality-wise and style-wise.

Jurgi Persoons(if and when he comes back this might be a possible reality for me)

Yukinori Maeda of Cosmic Wonder--he's got an enchanting vision I relate to as well.
Tess Giberson
Bernhard Willhelm(only he's got Carmen and Elle doing his shows)
Lutz

Rei Kawakubo, hands down, because of her ideas. I want a designer who would excite me every morning because I know I'm going to be working there.

I, too, would have loved working with now dead or retired masters.

miucci prada...she's so amazing
alexander mcqueen...he's also amazing
rei kawakubo...purely completely utterly amazing

 :flower:  :flower:

Many of the obvious choices... Karl, Miuccia, Givenchy before he retired...
But looking at up and coming 'it' designers, I think those ladies from Sass and Bide would be interesting to work with. I really like their work and the I also really like the way they themselves dress. They're defenitely intriguing (to me at least!)

Cool question.

Based on their (seeming) personalities:

Alice Temperley
Stella McArtney
Pheobe Philo
Proenza Schouler (spelling?) b/c Lazaro is HOT!
Marc Jacobs
Matthew Williamson

Based on their clothes
Karl Lagerfeld
yeah, I'll think of more later.

some of them i would like to work with just to get their knowledge because they've been in the industry for so long..well and are old.
like christian lacroix or karl lagerfield

but i love to work with someone younger who still knows their sh*t, like oliver thy.. or alexander mcqueen, or pheobe philo.

yeah. it would be awesome to intern at one of their houses...[:

Oh no! I love her clothes....

i HATE Donna Karan. i saw something on E! where they went into her house and all this, and she was sooooo f*cking full of herself-- so smug and self centered and arrogant. barf barf barf

i want to work with azzedine alaia or thierry mugler

matthew williamson, or michael kors. But especially matthew williamson-he's constantly inspiring, every season, and of course, he's from london, so i have to put my patriotic london girl bit in there.
