i really like givenchy, even tough it was like a continue collection from the last one but still PERFECT.

Givenchy, without a doubt.

Elie Saab was gorgeous, but expected.

Givenchy disappointed me the most this season. Ever since he stopped showing his collections to the press, its like he lost any sense of originality and showmanship.

His last two collections were beautifully crafted, yes, but also incredibly boring. His best Haute Couture shows were the ones that had some kind of point-of-view. These two past collections were almost sleep-inducing.

I didn't particularly like Chanel this season, especially in comparison to last seasons extravaganza, but it felt new and modern in its casual and almost "dressed-down" attitude. Karl was the only one to really propose something new for Haute Couture this season.

My favourite collection was Valentino. It was a simple and straightforward, yet it had a sense of romance and intricacy that one could trace back to Valentino's roots in Italy. I really don't understand why people hated it. For me it was the essence of couture because it was elegant and timeless and not trendy (like the other shows were).

the designers whose RTW i don't really care for chanel and elie saab!

If there's a collection that everything is perfect and represent HC, in my opinion, it is Givenchy. Elie Saab was as gorgeous as expected while Armani makes staples his Hc collection to showcase his best and totally technically perfect fabric. Dior is really really really beautiful but John can do more. JPG just nails the tailoring that is so impeccable. Chanel is a real hit and miss. And there is a collection full of nude shades with ruffles and pop of color that I thought it's RTW. Oh yes, It's Valentino. Pretty but I don't appreciate it.

I've to say gaultier paris actually.

then I liked armani privé.

Gautier - most coherent collection and fun presentations.
Dior - the red pieces totally got me, can't help it.
