Whitney Houston for Versace S/S 08 Campaign

i put this here instead of in the "ad Campaigns" section because as of now it is only hearsay. however, i have heard from 2 reliable sources within her management and elsewhere that Whitney has met with Donatella, gone through the financial bit of it, signed away and that it's a done deal. she'll be the face of the next Versace campaign.

i guess we'll find out more in the next couple of months.

I literally spit out my water when I read this title! For some reason I find it extremely humourous.

Whitney used to be a beautiful girl, didn't she model before she sang? I'm excited to see the results!

Allius, that is without question the single most unflattering photograph ever taken of her. it's ridiculously biased to use that to demonstrate your point.

Whitney's been through Hell and back, we've all read the stories, but the point is that she's on the other side now. She's been clean for a while now, has started to sort her life out (divorced her pathetic husband), and has been recording what will surely be a huge comeback album. It will be released in the early quarter of 2008, likely to coincide with the many other publicity things she'll be doing -- the Versace campaign among them.

It's a shame that her image has been tainted the way it has over the past few years, but do remember that for at least the first 15 years of her career, Whitney was seen as a gorgeous, classy woman. She's been on People's most beautiful list more than once, and yes she used to model before becoming a music star.

That photo is unfair because that's long ago. Whitney, before Bobby, was such an elegant and classic lady. Bobby was her downfall and it took her time to realize that. Now since then, she's getting back herself. As I recall, this would be one of the recent photos of her (Foxnews.com)

I think she would be perfect as she looks absolutely gorgeous here, and I am excited for her comeback! So yes, is still a dream for me!

And actually last year, I was thinking of how fun it would be for Whitney to make a comeback in Versace with her music playing there so I did show mix using one of her songs. Now it's exciting to see it's possible!
