I think Halle is a beautiful woman but I am a little bothered by these designers who use celebrities as models....I am certain there is a equally if not beautiful MODEL in the industry they can employ. That kinda bothers me.

It just seems like nowaday, thats the thing to do. You're right -- there are some absolutely beautiful model out there right now, but it just seems like that is the way the fashion industry is headed. Maybe it has something to do with the end of the Super Models, i dunno. They get double exposer if they use celebrities, so from a marketing standpoint - at the end of the day, they gotta make their numbers. Some of these big name designers are publicly traded, so they got shareholders to answer to. It's great if designers could stay true to the grassroots part of industry if you will, am sure its great to have that cult following from the creative sanctioners, but when you play to masses you gotta learn a different tune.
