DV did look quite happy and surprised and excited! That was somewhat of a cute expression. And it is just me, or does Whitney's speech sound a little funny. Some I didn't understand. (maybe is just me )

Actually Donatella and Britney was a special guest at one of the Versace shows a few years back. Donatella was quite fond of Britney. I don't know if she still is though.

I have mixed thoughts about this. Donatella seems to love the older more mature image of a woman. Hence Halle Barry, Demi Moore, Madonna, Kate Moss and now Whitney, but I dont know if WHitney suits the collection. If you look at the collection its hardly fits Whitney's look. I dunno, Ill have to hold back until I see the stuff.

Yes the unofficial SS08 Campaign thread says its Gisele. Id prefer her MUCH MUCH MUCH more over Whitney. Gisele has rocked Versace before and she will kick *** again. I think shes sexy, glamorous, experienced and definately very Versace.

well i can't say i'm not disappointed. and also a bit surprised. i didn't start this thread out of thin air, trust me. i wonder if something happened in the meantime, or if the people i spoke with in Whitney's camp were simply just trying to stir up some positive rumours. i adore Gisele, and i'm sure she'll certainly rock the Versace campaign, but i was really looking forward to a glamourous return for Whitney.
