MTV is certainly not pushing it...they would pretty much have to have started filming by now, wouldn't they?

Whitney is in NYC for only two reasons: to film The City and/or visit her boyfriend; so if the former isn't back then her reason for being in NYC is because of the latter.

^Whitney has been back in LA since the City wrapped filming. I don't buy that she really ever lived in NYC. She only films there. She certainly never really worked for DVF or People's Revolution.

Not necessarily... it depends when MTV wants the new season to start. Whitney tweeted that she will be back in NYC late August/early September... she is also going to have a presentation for WhitneyEve at NY fashion week. Her book comes out this fall as well

I have a good feeling that the city will be back but not this fall... possibly early january. It used to be case for mtv with these reality tv shows... the seasons weren't close together.. until the hills started to have a ridiculous viewership and mtv increased the number of episodes...

It's pretty obvious that PR and DVF were brand placement for the show and the girls didn't work there... it's the same for Elle magazine... Olivia is not an employee there is real life... I do think the internship at Teen Vogue was for real at least for the first two seasons of the hills.

Not sure why she's not on the schedule (but the schedule is consistently being revised) but she did say it on twitter and her blog...

It could be that she's waiting on MTV... afterall I'm pretty sure MTV bought her spot for her collection presentation...
